You’ll work across financial reporting, tax compliance, audit support and inventory integrity in a well-structured finance function.

Your new role

This contract Financial Accountant role will support the finance team in managing and reporting financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong internal controls. You’ll work across financial reporting, tax compliance, audit support and inventory integrity in a well-structured finance function.
Assist with month-end financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations
Support preparation of management and statutory reports
Assist with tax compliance including GST, income tax, payroll tax and FBT
Support external audit and ongoing compliance requirements
Assist with AP, AR, payroll and cash flow monitoring
Support inventory control, stocktake and reconciliation of stock results
What you'll need to succeed

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Exposure to internal and/or external audit highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
