We are looking for an experienced and detail orientated leader who  is seeking an analytical, high-performing team culture, will work collectively within the multi-faceted organisation, will ensure the integrity of financial records, reports and processes.

As the Financial Accountant, you will report to the Senior Financial Accountant and work collaboratively to ensure smooth execution of day-to-day finance operations. You will also add value to the business through continuous improvement and providing exceptional services to internal and external stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate is one who is a critical thinker, disciplined, organised, detail oriented and commercially minded. The role would suit either a first mover from public practice, or someone with solid accounting experience within a multi-site organisation.

Key Responsibilities will include preparing end of month journals, accruals and reconciliations. Preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting packs. Assist the Accounts team to execute the day to day finance operations. Liaise and assist our Services with finance queries. Assist with completing regulatory lodgments with ATO. Maintain appropriate processes, procedures and internal controls. Assist with external audit requests and queries.

What you’ll need Bachelor of Business or Commerce. CA or CPA Qualified. Minimum 5 years' professional experience. Exceptional administrative skills, demonstrating a high level of organisation and attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Excel skills. Great teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills. A blue card, or be willing to obtain one.
