Financial Accountant T+O+M Executive location Sydney. Salary Up to $110,000 Package+Bonus. Be in a growing team.

A growing fintech business in the heart of Sydney are the looking for an excellent financial accountant to join their control and reporting team. You will be looking at the financial and statutory accounts, assisting in the financial year end and HYE reporting process as a well as monthly reporting deliverables. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity to give you exposure across multiple business streams.

Responsibilities Financial control and oversight of the P/L and balance sheet for the month. Statutory reporting on the performance of the business. Coordinate review of the balance sheet and perform reconciliation validation checks. Prepare and post month end journal postings. Perform ad-hoc transactional finance and tax duties where required. Be involved in ad-hoc projects, advising the business around new transactions and new products.

About you hold CA/CPA relevant qualifications or equivalent. Have previous financial reporting/financial control experience within a banking or financial services business. Ability to hit the ground running and be hands on in the role. Exposure to group and external regulatory reporting highly desirable.
