Finance or Purchasing Assistant Stork Technical Services location Sydney. Salary $60,000 - $64,999. We seek an enthusiastic and proactive Finance/Purchasing Assistant with a can-do attitude to join our Finance Team. This person strives to meet a challenge, shows enthusiasm and will provide support to the team within a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities raising purchase orders and following up delivery dates, data entry into sap and compliance with p2p cycle, communicating with suppliers including coordination with site administrators regarding eta's, queries and investigations, adhere to all purchasing procedures, policies and guidelines, ensuring the purchasing transaction is managed at all times, including quotations, overdue purchase orders and payment authorisation is processed in a timely and efficient manner, archiving and general administrative duties as required, other ad hoc administrative and support tasks within the finance group as directed from time to time. Accounts payable duties processing of creditor invoices in a timely manner, ensure efficient and prompt attendance to suppliers’ queries, preparing weekly creditor payment runs, monthly creditor statement reconciliations, processing of staff expense claims, maintain master file, supporting bank and credit card reconciliations, other ad hoc administrative and support tasks within the finance group as directed from time to time. As a successful candidate, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, highly developed communication and time management skills, high level of computer literacy, proficiency in the microsoft suite, intermediate excel a must, the ability to work unsupervised in a confidential and discreet manner, experience with sap is desirable.
