Finance Officer CustomTec Pty Ltd location Sydney.

CustomTec is a rapidly expanding Managed Services Provider with a proven track record in solution design, implementation and service delivery. We also provide infrastructure and online solutions through our cloud and colocation services.

CustomTec requires a Finance Officer to join our Finance Team based in West Pennant Hills. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main duties include performing a range of functions across the finance department.

Applicants must be self-motivated, possess strong communication and presentation skills, high attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a self starter, proactive and “can do” attitude in a team environment, commitment to best practices, able to demonstrate strong financial knowledge, Competent in Microsoft Dynamics - Business Central. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further advance their knowledge and career through internal and external training.

Responsibilities of the role include Accounts payable – processing and payment of supplier invoices. Monthly supplier account reconciliations. Daily bank reconciliation. Credit card reconciliation. Streamline processes to reduce error rates, better response times to vendors/partners, and further improve the customer experience. Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining supplier profiles.

Assist with debtors management when required. Assist with customer invoicing. Ensure the security and continuity of revenue streams and provide a liaison service to internal and external customers. Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports. Balance sheet reconciliations.

Additional experience in any of the following would be considered an advantage Microsoft Office, Advanced excel skills. Tertiary/CPA qualifications is highly regarded.

The successful applicant will have the following skill set as a minimum minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounts role in a professional services environment. Strong communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise work. Ability to work into a team environment. Ability to work without being micro managed. Ability to meet deadlines and recognise early when deadlines will be missed. Australian Citizen and/or Permanent Resident.
