Finance Manager Sharp and Carter Finance and Accounting Brisbane location Brisbane. $150,000 - $165,000 + Super.

The position reporting to the CFO you will form part of the local management group and oversee the finance functions relating to three key operational areas within the business.  You will be responsible for leading a mid-sized team, driving performance and engage with senior operational stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information, contributing to the profitability of the group by maintaining and implementing relevant controls around financial performance.

Key responsibilities lead and manage a team of 10. Lead, guide and mentor a finance team that consists of qualified finance business partners and transactional support across AP & AR. Own month end close and reporting activities.

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis of actuals versus forecast. Produce the quarterly report packs to the Directors. Analysis of operational areas (sales, costs, pricing & overheads) within the business and provide recommendations for improvement to relevant stakeholders. Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.

Skills and experience ca/CPA or equivalent qualification. Relevant experience in a senior finance related role. Demonstrated people leadership abilities and experience. Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills.
