Finance Manager Robert Half Finance and Accounting location Sydney. Salary $130k - $150k p.a. + Super + bonus.

The company Robert Half is exclusively partnered with a growing firm specializing in the production of renewable energy to hire their new Finance Manager. As they embark on the transition from constructing to operating their assets, it is an exciting time to join the business in a varied role that will see you manage the accounting function whilst also provide strategic support to the senior leadership team and board of directors.

The role the Finance Manager is a key leadership role in the business. Reporting into the Head of Finance you will be managing the full spectrum of financial reporting including consolidation, preparing the management accounts and the annual financial statements. The role encompasses financial reporting, tax, managing the external audit, and budgeting and forecasting. You will also be providing commercial insights to the senior leadership team on the financial and operational trends to support business decisions.

Your profile as the successful Finance Manager, you are CA qualified and started your career in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm. This is a broad role and you are well-versed in managing the full end of month accounting process in a commercial environment, preparing quarterly financial statements, managing the yearly audit and statutory compliance.

Your ability to work in a small team, with a collaborative and inclusive style is paramount as you will be tasked with building consensus amongst senior stakeholders and investors. You will be working with non-finance stakeholders and presenting semi technical financial information to the CEO and beyond, therefore you will be an exceptional communicator (written and verbal).
