About the opportunity this is an opportunity for a finance professional with operational experience and a proven track record of creative problem-solving and change management to join in a high-profile and mission-driven organization.

Reporting to the CEO and serving as a member of the leadership team, the Finance Manger will be responsible for the development and delivery of Growcom's financial management and contribute to the development and implementation of our strategic goals.

In addition to the strategic components, the Finance Manager will be charged with developing and implementing cost efficient and cost effective policies and procedures both in the finance and general operational realms.

About the role provide financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, project performance, and company policy matters. Serve as the management liaison to Board finance and audit committee effectively communicate and present critical financial matters at select Board and committee meetings.

Oversee, contribute, direct and organise the work of finance and operations staff. Implement an appropriate and efficient system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedure. About you Business or Accounting qualifications are essential. Minimum 5 years experience in a senior role ideally with both external audit and in-house financial management accounting experience. Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organisational change and development within a growing organisation. Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask. Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented. Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with Growcom's leadership team, the Board of Directors, and staff. Ability to deliver as an effective operational staff member, "a doer" as well as at the strategic level.
