Finance Manager FourQuarters Recruitment location Sydney. Salary Up to $120K + super.

FourQuarters is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join an ASX listed Financial Services business to provide detailed financial reporting, analysis and insights to the senior stakeholders. This role will commence on a contract basis for 6 months, with the potential to go permanent.

The role in this 'hands-on' role you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial and management reporting, working with senior business leaders to develop budgets and in-depth financial analysis.

Key responsibilities will include engaging with the business to build corporate knowledge and understanding of issues, opportunities and their implications for key business initiatives. Identifying trends in key business drivers, understanding the reason and business consequences and recommending actions. Reviewing monthly results for the division within required time-frame.

Sign off all divisional balance sheet reconciliations and monthly results. Reporting of divisional results to key stakeholders on a monthly basis. Assisting with the annual audit and reporting process. Defining, measuring and interpreting key financial and non-financial measures and trends, tracking progress against strategic objectives and reporting on progress and recommended corrective actions to key stakeholders.

Improving business effectiveness, efficiency and value for money by interpreting, explaining and driving performance, to include excellent budgeting and forecasting. Timely and accurate monitoring and evaluating of financial information such as budgets, month-end variances and forecasts to drive decision making.  Advocate and drive continuous improvement across the team within finance.

Your profile fully qualified (CA/CPA) with experience working in Financial Services. Extensive experience in financial management including budgeting, financial reports and ensuring statutory compliance. Exceptional communication skills, particularly the ability to influence and inspire confidence in executive leaders. Proficiency in advanced Excel and reporting systems. Strong analytical, organisational and decision-making skills. Excellent time management skills, including the ability to discern priorities, plan ahead and coordinate with others to complete tasks.
