Finance Manager Lawson Delaney location Melbourne.

Our client is seeking a strategic, lateral thinking and commercially astute Finance Manager to drive growth and profit for their organisation. This is a well-established organisation that is very proud of their product, reputation and ethics. You will be responsible for the leadership, management and development of the finance and administration team in addition to all of the financial activities of the Group. This is a full time, permanent role based just outside of the city in Collingwood.

Critical success factors identified being preparation of weekly, monthly annual financial statements. Prepare reconciliations and general ledger entries. BAS, ATO, PAYG, W/cover, FBT reporting. Liaise with colleagues across varied departments locally. Liaise with local tax consultants, auditors, insurance and legal consultants as required. Scheduling and payments of accounts and managing multiple currencies.

Processing and accounting of payroll. Overview of debtors and optimising cashflow. Administer financial control procedures. Assist with budgeting and annual statutory audits. Liaise with customers regarding financial topics as required. Payroll and other HR-related administration tasks. General finance department and administration tasks.

Qualifications and experience required for this role accounting and finance qualifications, CA or CPA an advantage. Excellent IT literacy, preferably having experience with large CRM systems. Solutions based mindset and proactive problem-solving skills. Self-motivation with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic local team. Friendly & personable disposition.

Solid knowledge of Australian tax, accounting and legal regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn all that is required to complete the tasks involved, including training at international headquarters if required. Excellent organisational skills.
