Group Finance Manager Healthe Care Australia location Sydney, CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs. An exciting opportunity exists at Healthe Care Australia for a qualified and experienced individual to lead as the Group Finance Manager. Healthe Care is the third largest private hospital operator in Australia. Established in 2005, we have grown through deliberate expansion of existing facilities, and targeted acquisition of other healthcare services.  We have 34 hospitals and healthcare facilities across 5 states, 4 capital cities and major regional areas in Australia and one in New Zealand, employing over 7,000 people.  Healthe Care Australia is a subsidiary of Luye Medical Group, the healthcare service division of Luye Life Sciences Group, a leading pan-Asian healthcare services group. As the Group Finance Manager you will be working closely with a small finance team and liaising with the broader finance manager group based across the organisation.  The Group Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day corporate finance functions of the group, ensuring delivery to deadlines and compliance with group policies. Essential tertiary qualifications in accounting, cpa, ca qualified, 5+ years of experience in a similar finance executive role. Attributes private hospital (or similar sector) experience, proven team management skills including the ability to lead and develop people, highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, strong computer skills, including advanced level excel skills, oracle and webpas experience. Key responsibilities lead the month-end process for the group to ensure agreed deadlines and deliverables are met, assist and guide hospital finance managers on accounting process decisions and maintaining standards within company policy and compliance, perform and review all necessary tasks to complete group monthly financial accounting within agreed deadlines (including head office general ledger reconciliations), month end general ledger consolidation process (local businesses and overseas subsidiaries), oversee the fixed assets register uploads process, including reconciliation of all relevant accounts on a monthly basis, assist with the interpretation of financial reports and models for decision making, reconcile and upload budgets and forecasts, maintain and enhance internal controls and add value to financial management systems, be a key lead in group financial improvement initiatives, design and implement procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of organisational systems where they are missing or could be improved to add value, provide support for internal/external audits and any due diligence work (as required), supervise junior staff and ensure compliance with the finance policy.
