Finance Manager Stockland location Sydney. Due to internal promotion, we have a unique opportunity for a Finance Manager to step into a highly commercial, hands-on position where you will business partner with Senior Management, providing accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights to drive achievement of Business Targets. Key responsibilities analyse and interpret results to provide quality insight to senior stakeholders into factors influencing performance, and present recommendations for performance improvement, responsible for consolidated reporting, analysis and insight across the corporate cost base, understanding key drivers, highlighting trends and identifying areas of risk and opportunity, driving a culture of “no surprises”, build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal customers / stakeholders, as trusted finance business partner for exco members, general managers, senior managers and the broader finance team, responsible for challenging the current processes and assumptions, and driving improvement initiatives to deliver greater control, transparency, accuracy and simplification where possible, support the wider pr&a team as a strong 2ic to the senior finance manager, leading the team in periods of sfm leave, driving initiatives and supporting deliverables across the team, leading a team of 2 analysts, providing guidance, direction and mentoring, and ensuring appropriate development and coaching plans are in place, embed a culture of strong control and risk compliance ensuring adherence to accounting policies and internal controls including balance sheet recs and analytical reviews. About you ca / cpa qualified, you will have extensive experience in corporate / cost accounting, planning and business partnering, exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and influence strong partnerships at all levels across the organization, experience supervising or leading a team is essential, demonstrated history of driving continuous improvement, a naturally curious & inquisitive individual with the desire to understand and effectively communicate the “why” behind the numbers, an autonomous self-starter who is solutions focused and demonstrates a high level of commercial awareness and personal accountability.
