Description

Finance Manager FourQuarters Recruitment location Melbourne. The Manager Financial Services is responsible for managing the delivery of high quality financial accounting services. Responsibilities support the financial controller and cfo with duties as required in the delivery of quality financial accounting and reporting, manage the month-end process, reporting timetable and support the financial controller in preparing the finance report, review general ledger reconciliations and supplier reconciliations prepared by staff and ensure that any reconciliation issues are adequately addressed or flagged with senior financial management, manage accounts to ensure financial transactions adhere to the dhhs business rules, managing a finance team of 5, ensure internal financial management reporting and accounting advice is of high quality, accurate and delivered within the required time-frames, manage the preparation and review of business activity statements, fringe benefits tax return and workcover rateable remuneration return. Manage the preparation of external reporting in accordance with the requirements of external stakeholders including DHHS (F1 reporting); the Victorian Auditor General’s Office (year-end statutory accounts) ABS Surveys; and the DTF (Annual Financial Returns / Quarterly Financial Returns). Coordinate the Statutory Annual Accounts and ensure the accounts are delivered on time and to a high standard. Manage finance systems and finance projects.
