Finance Manager Raging Waters location Sydney. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, organised and efficient Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, we are looking for someone with a strong financial background and previous experience working at a senior level. You will need a high attention to detail, strong communication skills and a passion for numbers. Responsibilities of this role liaise with external auditors & government bodies, produce & provide financial reporting to key stakeholders, ad hoc projects as required, manage day-to-day finance activities as the finance manager, liaise with bureau of statistics, preparation of monthly management accounts, overseeing the month end timeline, maintain strong internal controls ensuring compliance with all finance related statutory requirements, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, oversee weekly and monthly payroll, accounts payable and receivable functions, manage returns of bas, payroll tax, income tax, fbt and workers comp insurance, daily monitoring of cash flow, mentoring of a small finance team. Skills and experience minimum 5 years of relevant experience, qualified accountant (cpa or ca), proven experience as finance manager, controller or similar, hands on financial accounting and reporting experience, intermediate excel skills. To be successful in this position you will be CA/CPA/CIMA qualified and have experience working in a similar position. You will have a strong technical skill set that is complimented well by your commercial mind and your ability to communicate the numbers to the business. You will be prepared to be hands on and not afraid to get into the detail whilst always maintaining a 'big picture' mindset. You will have experience driving change and transformation and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Flexible in approach to work hours including weekend availability during the season.
