Finance Manager Hays Accountancy and Finance location Melbourne, Northern Suburbs. Our client is a residential builder that has recently expanded their operations to the Victorian market after being very successful in NSW. This newly created role of Finance Manager will be reporting into the directors and supporting them on key business decisions. They aim to build exceptional family homes and understand the way their customers live to be a trusted builder. Your new role financial reporting and month end processes, tax and compliance duties, bas, fbt and gst, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, management accounting kpi reporting, analysis, profitability, wip and project job accounting, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, hands on with ap ar and payroll. What you'll need to succeed the successful candidate for this role will have previous experience as a finance manager or controller in a similar environment and preferably an industry background of residential builds or construction. You will be used to a hands on and full finance function role while still taking initiative to promote growth for the business and be a natural leader for junior staff. You will be a strong and clear communicator and offer advice for key business decisions. CA/CPA Qualification and strong excel skills are ideal. Xero and Databuild experience advantageous.
