Finance Manager Bentley Recruitment location Brisbane, CBD and Inner Suburbs. Salary 80,000 - 100,000 plus super. This is a very unique opportunity to join an energetic team in a growing company and control the full finance functions of their businesses. This role would suit someone from a boutique background, who would enjoy managing the entirety of finance functions of their hospitality business, whilst working one on one with the company owners. You will have the opportunity to work with a well known portfolio of hospitality companies that have been recognized in multiple industry awards in Queensland. There is a strong possibility for growth into a larger team and the opportunity to work strategically with the business owners. Responsibilities duties required but not limited to overseeing the flow of cash and financial instruments, planning and directing the activities of workers in branches or departments, preparing reports as required by law, regulations or company policies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures, investigate ways to improve profitability, and analyse markets for business opportunities, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, accounts (ar & ap reconciliations), payroll for 150 staff (permanent, contract and casual), month end reporting, profit and loss, bas/ias, payg, payroll tax preparation, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ad-hoc accounting admin and compliance duties, liaise with external accountants from big4. Requirements bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business admin, economics or similar field, experience working in a similar role, xero experience is essential, processing payroll for a number of staff (150+), great attitude and work ethic, detailed orientated and organized, needs to be a team player, strong communication, analysis and comprehension skills, experience working for the hospitality industry is a bonus.
