Who are we looking for an exciting opportunity has come available in our established wine distribution company for a Finance Lead to be part of the growth and rejuvenation currently being undertaken by the business. The sales landscape for this industry encompasses on-trade, retail, e and grocery customers both large and small. Product is sourced from NZ, Australia and Europe.

We are seeking a person who is looking for their next challenge, wanting to be a key member of the executive team and is ready for future career development. The appointee will manage and develop our finance, systems and reporting environment and provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders.

It is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, timeliness, a big picture view but also attention to detail. You will also be a team player with a sense of humour.

What attributes and experience are we looking for chartered Accountant (member of CAANZ), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), or equivalent. Relevant commercial accounting experience. Evidence of ongoing Professional Development. Exposure to project management.

Naturally works well in a team environment. Is a proven leader and manager of staff, able to develop and grow team members. Clear and concise written communication skills and excellent verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences. NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident.
