Contract Position Finance Director Graphic Packaging International Australia Converting Ltd location Melbourne. Graphic Packaging International ANZ is a leader in innovative design and manufacture of printed packaging for blue chip customers and part of the global Graphic Packaging International business. We supply cartons and flexible packaging to a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, consumer products and beverage. We have built a solid reputation and have experienced significant growth on the quality of our products, the expertise or our people and our investment in state of the art processes and equipment. We are seeking an experienced, proactive Finance Director – ANZ to be engaged on a contract position until 31 December, 2020 to oversee all financial aspects of Graphic Packaging International ANZ. The Finance Director is responsible for analysing financial, statistical and commercial information, providing recommendations to the business units and to drive the ANZ financial strategy. This is a hands on position you will be an active participant on the Executive Leadership Team. Your specific responsibilities include lead the finance organisation for the anz business, drive accountability deep into the anz business to facilitate the achievement of financial goals, coordinate the strategic business development and the detailed operating plans, prepare the monthly day 10 financial results package and outlook presentation with the executive leadership team, maintain corporate governance in a sarbanes oxley controls environment, maintaining the control environment and enforcing adherence to accounting standards and developing the anz finance team’s technical and leadership skills. As the successful candidate you will have ca/cpa qualifications, strong business acumen and operations based financial analysis skills, project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on a continuous basis, advanced excel skills, proficiency in powerpoint and hyperion financial management, minimum 10+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, clear, courteous and concise communication skills, good organisational skills, technical and problem solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate vision/mission, strong interpersonal skills, ability to motivate people, working knowledge of microsoft office, outlook and internet skills and lean manufacturing experience a plus.
