Information Requests are a vital service the Police provide to the New Zealand public, organisations and partner agencies releasing information about the work Police have done.

We have multiple vacancies available for File Management Support Officers (FMSO) who will work as part of the Information Request team responding to requests under the Official Information Act, Privacy Act, and Land Transport Act. Your key role is to collate information and provide responses to requests whilst ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines and legislation. It's a challenging, interesting, and very important role. Quite simply, you would be our Information Request superheroes.

Determining the relevance and identifying potential risks of information that is being analysed whilst upholding confidentiality. Have a commitment to excellence - ability to concentrate on detailed tasks for long periods of time, learn from mistakes, a drive to improve and take on feedback.

Salary this position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $57,083 and $66,018 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
