Field Service Technician Sonasafe 20-20 Ltd location Auckland.

Our unique system has been designed to save people’s lives and highlight areas of concern to workplaces that care about their staff. We will be working in a wide range of environments from distribution centres through to mining and heavy industry so no two days will be the same. We are committed to focus on safety and genuinely care about reducing harm to people and making work safe.

The opportunity you will be installing our system onto equipment ranging from small forklifts to large 48ton hoists and gantry cranes. The role is primarily based in Auckland however it will involve travel nationwide initially with international travel highly probable in the future. In addition to this, you will be liaising with our customers to provide them with the highest level of customer service and looking for opportunities for us to exploit. This role will involve occasional after-hours and weekend work however this is kept to a minimum as work/life balance is important to us.

You will be responsible for the installation of our Proactive proximity safety solution. Ensuring scheduled servicing of customers equipment. Be able to forge and maintain excellent relationships with our customers. Ensure that all work meets client service expectations and deadlines.

To achieve this, you will need the following work requires a hands on, "can do" attitude with good problem-solving skills. Be able to work unsupervised and within a team. Methodical and accurate in your work practices. Highly motivated with the ability to set and achieve goals. Able to meet deadlines. Good communications skills. Experience and attributes.

You will have previous experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment. Have the ability to work in a team or individually. Possess excellent organisational and communications skills and fluent with the English language. Have good problem solving and fault-finding skills. Must be able to self-manage and organise your own work to ensure our customers are served to their requirements. As we are growing, you will have the opportunity to grow with us.
