Your chance to make a real difference in your community. Heart Kids is the only charity dedicated to supporting children with heart conditions and their families through life. Each week 12 babies are born with a congenital heart defect in New Zealand.  We are looking for a positive, caring and well-organised person to join our Family Support team in Central Manawatu, preferably based in Palmerston North, or nearby.

If you have excellent listening and interpersonal skills, the ability to work with a wide range of families and health professionals, and are able to work both independently and as part of this dynamic team, we'd like to hear from you. Experience working with families, children and communities within the health sector would be an advantage, as is computer literacy and Internet access. The successful candidate will work from home, need their own car to visit families and attend meetings as required.
