The Business Heron Ship Repair Ltd. is one of New Zealand's most experienced ship build, refit and repair specialists providing ship survey, repair and refit on a varied range of marine vessels.

About the role this is a fulltime permanent role, minimum 40 hours Monday to Friday with additional hours expected including weekends to meet customer/client demands. Heron offers competitive hourly rates plus industry leading overtime incentives. There are several fulltime positions available with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Skills, Experience, qualifications the ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills trade Qualified - certified to AS/NZS ISO 9606.1:2017 or capable of passing test. 3+ years of experience. Heavy Fabrication/Marine/Ship Yard experience advantageous. Build and support effective working relationships. Physically fit.

Strong organisation and planning skills. Adheres to principles and values. Can follow instructions and procedures. Demonstrate sound work ethics. Be experienced in working and behaving in an effective Health and Safety culture.
