Knauf Linings is the Australian new build residential supply and install services arm of Knauf Gypsum’s plasterboard business on the east coast of Australia, providing project management services for builders through a geographically distributed team of area managers and project coordinators.

Currently operating in SEQ, NSW, ACT, VIC and TAS, Knauf Linings QLD installs plasterboard into over 2,000 houses per year, with customers ranging from some of Australia’s largest builders to small builders who construct fewer than 50 homes per year.

What we are looking for:

Knauf is looking to engage experienced Maintenance Plasterers as subcontractors to support increased service demand across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. These subcontractor roles will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional maintenance services for a wide range of residential projects across QLD.

About the work:

Measuring, marking and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning plasterboard, and securing them to walls and ceilings
Plumbing and straightening corners, angles and wall and ceiling surfaces
Pre paint touch ups
Installing expansion joints to walls and ceilings
Hole patching and pre for paint
Contracted rates for pre paints
About you:

Must have your own company and/or ABN to undertake subcontractor work
Must have public liability insurance and personal indemnity insurance
Proven experience undertaking maintenance plastering, preferably with 5 years’ experience
Knowledge of fixing, setting and cornicing
Understanding of HSE requirements and ability to undertake safety activities on residential building sites
Strong work ethic, professionalism and punctuality
