Executive Officer Department of Education location Sydney. $134,411 - $155,445.
Executive officer opportunity to provide high level administrative support to Executives at DoE. Full time temporary employment opportunity in a vibrant team up to 12 months. Based in Parramatta CBD with hybrid and flexible work options. Remuneration of $134,411 to $155,445 plus super & leave loading.
About the Department of education the Department of Education is the largest provider of public education in Australia with responsibility for delivering high-quality public education to two-thirds of the NSW student population.
About the role the role provides a range of high level executive, secretariat, and project support services to the Executive including providing strategic advice, managing communications and implementing strategies to support the achievement of the organisation’s strategic and operational objectives.
Essential requirements of the role hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment. Key knowledge and experience demonstrated extensive experience at a senior level in the management in a large complex organisation.
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as education, business, management, social sciences or communications, and/or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

You are a seasoned executive officer with previous experience managing high level executive, secretariat, and project support services. You have a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders both internal and external.
