About the opportunity join a highly collaborative, flexible, and inclusive team in a progressive organisation. As an Executive Officer in the NSW Treasury, your role will work with The Secretary and Senior Executives to support the operation of The Secretary’s office.

The Executive Officer provides timely expert executive and professional support to the Secretary and Senior Executives in the Office of Secretary, including managing a diverse range of critical issues, services and projects relating to key strategic objectives. The Executive Office organises high level committees, meetings and related fora chaired or convened by the Secretary or Senior Executives in the Office of Secretary and coordinates the submission of reports, briefings and related documents for Secretary and Senior Executive’s attention.

About you ideally, you will embody these attributes high level knowledge skills and experience in Government protocols and procedures, including Cabinet and inter-government protocols and processes. Proven experience in providing high level executive support and related services to boards, committees and similar forums. Demonstrated research, analytical, conceptual, strategic thinking skills and project management. Expertise in drafting Ministerial correspondence, capturing key strategic themes in line with Secretary’s requirements. Experience in policy development and /or implementation desirable. Strong communication skills.
