The purpose of this Executive Assistant role is to provide a high quality and efficient service to the General Manager Youth Justice Residences, and the wider team.

This is achieved by proactively coordinating, supporting, and facilitating the seamless delivery of activities, ensuring that the overall strategic goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently.

As an Executive Assistant you will bring your expertise to provide excellent organisational and communication skills. Strong stakeholder management experience. Email and diary management. Meeting management, organising events, booking travel and accommodation.

Manage finance and invoice processing. Pro-actively manage and identify priorities and risks. Act as a key point of contact and trusted team member. What you will bring you will be a professional, experienced EA with a proven track record in delivering a high-quality service and output at a senior level.

Ideally you will also be highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple items while maintaining high level of attention to detail. Have the ability to act as gatekeeper and to effectively manage or escalate relevant information to senior managers as needed.

Have a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion. Bring excellent IT skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite. Thrive in working in a matrix environment that requires a high level of discretion, sensitivity, and interpersonal interaction. Bring an understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns and knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pasifika.
