First, a little about us we build & acquire top performing consumer brands. Founded in 2009, Groovy began as a boutique marketing agency. In 2018 we diversified, and started acquiring & investing in our own retail & e-commerce brands, which has now become our core focus.

Our brands span across Health & Nutrition (Sportsfuel, Nothing Naughty, Clean Nutrition, Vitally), Entertainment (Game Kings) and SAAS (Shopify Apps). We're on a mission to build a digitally native group of world class brands, right here in the Mighty Waikato.

What we're looking for our group has seen tremendous growth over the last year, and we're now in need of a full time Executive Assistant to support the CEO & leadership team. This is a newly created role, and a fantastic opportunity to make it your own.

Your role will include keeping track of projects and outstanding actions, following up to get things completed. Minute taking in company meetings. Event organisation - assisting with the coordination of meetings and employee social events.

Personal errands for the CEO. Ad Hoc tasks and special projects. General administration, including handling invoices and expenses, ensuring processes are followed and budgets tracked. General Office Management - liaising with contractors & suppliers (cleaners, property manager etc), purchasing supplies for the office, keeping kitchen tidy & stocked.

Customer Support - working with the Support Team and responding to customer queries and phone calls when required. This role will most certainly evolve and adapt over time. Our ideal candidate would have a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

Ability to think on your feet and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Fantastic attention to detail. Excellent spoken and written English skills. Highly organised, able to prioritise multiple tasks and work to deadlines. Be a strong and clear communicator who is adaptable and able to adjust to different requirements.

You’ll love working with people and teams, and people will love working with you. Discretion is important - you will be entrusted with confidential information so it is critical you maintain this trust and with professional etiquette. Have experience with various cloud based software, and be very digitally savvy. Culture fit is important.
