The opportunity this position is a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Executive Assistant to provide effective administrative support to the Associate Dean's and Senior Professional staff members within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. This is a 12-month fixed-term – Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) position. Remuneration: $47,000 - $59,000 dependent on experience.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include ensuring the smooth operation of administrative and secretarial functions, including coordinating meetings, managing diaries, preparing agendas, and recording minutes for committees and staff meetings.

Managing travel arrangements and logistics around special events and visits. Liaise with faculty HR and assist with administration of processes related to academic promotions. Coordinating recruitment processes. Developing collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.

Important skills high level of interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely. Negotiation skills and ability to build successful relationships. Strong organisational skills with an ability to exercise discretion, demonstrate initiative to identify and solve problems requiring judgment and accurate interpretation of established information.

A proactive and flexible approach to work. An ability to liaise at an executive level and to work under pressure within a politically complex and challenging environment. About the team the role is based in the office of the Dean (M&HS Building 505).  You will be working alongside a team of EAs who are extremely busy but have a collegial/calm and friendly work ethic with great personalities.
