About the role victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Kaiāwhina Matua - Executive Assistant to join the Office of the Amo Ōrauariki - Dean in Ōrauariki - Wellington School of Business and Government on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is located at Pipitea Campus and provides executive level, comprehensive support to the Amo Ōrauariki - Dean to ensure that they are supported in their day-to-day activities, as well as a crucial contribution to the running of the Office of the Amo Ōrauariki - Dean.
Key responsibilities high quality executive level support. Secretarial duties for Boards. Logistical, financial, and administrative support for the Office of the Amo Ōrauariki - Dean.
About you, you will influence and build relationships. Use your strong attention to detail and self-management skills. Enjoy working both independently and as part of a friendly and collaborative team.
Work through a diverse range of tasks requiring a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, tact, accuracy, and independent judgement. This role is busy, challenging, and extremely rewarding, contributing immensely towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the Amo Ōrauariki - Deans Office.
Key requirements previous experience as an EA or PA within a large and/or complex organisation. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions about priorities.
Highly developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex matters in a concise and easily understandable manner. An advanced level of computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
