Executive Assistant DCM location Wellington.

We are looking for an EA to support the Director and senior managers, ensuring that DCM runs smoothly. For 50 years, DCM has worked on some of the biggest problems facing Wellington city, supporting the most marginalised people in our city to break the cycle of homelessness, and to find recovery, wholeness and reconnection with their cultural roots and whanau. We have a proven track record of assisting people to put their lives back together.

Your job will involve management Support - assisting our Director and senior managers. Hui Support - facilitate planning for and delivery of DCM Board meetings, team, partner and stakeholder hui. Reporting and record keeping - supporting managers with recording and reporting on data and evidence. General support - including contributing to the organisation and delivery of DCM events and projects, and induction of new kaimahi. Deliver DCM kaupapa, strategy and values - understand and commit to DCM’s kaupapa, strategy and values, and how we deliver these through our services and practice

What you will bring skills excellent team member - supportive of colleagues with a willingness to be flexible to meet the needs of taumai. Relationship management skills across a diverse range people and needs. Well-organised and able to prioritise and manage mahi across different areas of focus. Strengths in all communication including minute taking. Experience in general office administration skills including filing and diary management.

Ability to prioritise, schedule work to meet deadlines and maintain the quality of services delivered. Experience of working in an environment that requires a high level of discretion, sensitivity, and interpersonal interaction. Ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels both within DCM and with outside agencies and clients. Ability to work in a team environment, adapt, demonstrate initiative, and cope with continuing change

Experiencee previous experience in an Executive Assistant or administrative support role. Experience in minute-taking. Qualifications and Registrations.
