Estimator Talent HR Partners location Sydney. Salary $100,000 - $129,999.

We currently have a immediate position for a mid level Estimator to join a leading refurbishment and fit out contractor who deliver projects from $1mil to $20mil across Australia. This role will be based in the head office in Sydney and will report into the General Manager and Estimating Manager.

They deliver fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects including aged care, education, clubs and hospitality, commercial, industrial, workplace, retail, hotels and government. Due to their growth in tenders, they require a mid level Estimator to work on a permanent basis.

What do you do conduct reviews of new tenders + complete tender assessment forms for multiple new jobs. Report into the General Manager and Estimating Manager. Set up the sub-contractor comparison form, trade/supplier packages, sending packages, arranging site visits and obtaining quotes. Experience liaising, obtain and negotiating pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. Produce and finalize accurate estimates (i.e. bill of quantities) ready for review with Internal.

What do you need 4-7 years experience with a refurb and fitout contractor on projects to $10mil. Experience Analysing tender documentation and plans. Working in a team environment. Experience liaising obtain and negotiating pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. A positive attitude.
