THIS opportunity we are seeking a dedicated, motivated and results-driven Equities Sales in our Global Capital Markets Division to drive sales and trading growth in our brokerage business.

Main responsibilities this role is responsible for establishing a client base and driving growth in Sales & Trading while building and maintaining relationships with clients by providing opportunities in global equities markets and first-class brokerage service.

You will drive growth by developing and managing client relationships and new business acquisition in global capital markets. Providing professional support, information and guidance to clients and representing the business in a professional, positive and knowledgeable manner. Identify trading opportunities and market trends to drive client interest in equities markets.

Assist in the development and launching of new service offerings or projects. Ensure that service and sales materials are always updated and consistent with compliance and regulatory requirements. Preparing sales reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information. Assist with order entry into markets and ensure all record-keeping and trading compliance requirement are me.

You ideally you will possess at least two years of sales experience within the financial / capital markets / brokerage sector. You will also possess excellent client management capabilities coupled with strong communication skills. Relevant Tertiary degree with excellent knowledge in global capital markets; and an in-depth understanding in equities and equity markets.

Great understanding of relevant financial legislation (i.e. AMLCFT Act 2009) and the New Zealand regulatory framework (i.e. Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 and Financial Advisers Act 2008). High self-motivation to drive sales and client base growth.

Ability to build professional relationships with new or existing clients. Strong network and referral sources is highly desirable. Diligent, independent, outgoing and takes initiative to achieve sales objectives. Fluent in Chinese is a must. Must be Eligible to work in New Zealand with a valid working Visa.
