About the Role

As an Employment Support Worker, you’ll guide, and mentor supported employees as they complete, cleaning, and maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on, team-based role where you’ll provide both practical assistance and encouragement to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You’ll work as part of a friendly, collaborative team, offering one-on-one and small-group support to empower individuals and celebrate their success.

Key Responsibilities

Assist supported employees as they complete cleaning and maintenance tasks
Prepare and set up equipment and materials for daily work
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with procedures
Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and encouragement
Monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring great results
Promote a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment
What You Will Bring

Ideally, you will have:

Certificate III in Community Services (or equivalent experience)
Current Driver’s Licence (essential)
Senior First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
Working with Children Check (essential)
Experience working with people with disability or in practical/hands-on roles (desirable)
A genuine interest in working with people of all abilities
Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills
A collaborative, team-focused mindset
Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
