Electrician Southland Electricial and Refrigeration location Southland. Salary $70,000 - $79,999.

Electrician Southland Electrical & Refrigeration are currently seeking a NZ Registered Electrician to join our team. Electricians at Southland Electrical & Refrigeration are key to their business and will perform highly skilled maintenance, installation and repairs of various electrical systems.  The work will be performed for a variety of clients and projects within the Commercial, Domestic and Industrial sectors. The work would see the application of electrical principles for the installation of new electrical components or the maintenance and repair of existing electrical infrastructures.

Components of the role adhere to all H&S regulations and practice safe working. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the job quickly, efficiently and effectively. Maintain accurate records of timesheets and job cards. Stocktake vehicle stock on a monthly basis. Interpret and understand plans and drawings, specifications and work orders. Ensure all electrical safety tests are conducted and completed to NZ Electrical Board requirements.

Requirements for the role must be a NZ Registered Electrician, holding a current practicing licence. Hold a current NZ driving licence. Must possess demonstrated, practical experience as an Electrician. Have experience in the Commercial, Domestic and Industrial sectors. Have a strong attention to detail and high level of workmanship.

Be able to work within a team and unsupervised, make decisions and perform multiple tasks, ensuring this is all completed within the company’s Health and Safety requirements. Have the ability to work closely with a diverse range of people as well as being able to build and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and externally. Experience in the dairy industry would be advantageous (although not essential).
