Description

Electrical Engineer Shinehub PTY LTD location Sydney. Salary $55,000 - $59,999. Company brief shine hub pty ltd is a residential solar panel and battery specialist business with a strong software focus and community energy development experience. We design software to power Community Solar Programs where we coordinate large volumes of solar and battery orders via our bulk buy programs, then manage the installations and provide quality assurance via our custom software and services offerings. Description the engineer ensures that the designs for the home-owners meets all regulatory requirements of the Clean Energy Council. They will then provide all system performance estimates and provide an accurate panel design with the use of a variety of online software. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the meter switch board will be up to date abiding to current AS/NA rules and notify the project manager handling the customer of any changes or extra works are required. Once the project has been installed, it is up to the engineer to go through an internal QA process to commission the system meets both Shine Hub and all relevant industry body standards. The engineer will also be required to provide both onsite or remote support to our installer network whilst installing the system or if any faults appear post-installation. Duties updating project managers about any changes in design, including extra costs, constantly checking with the project management team to have customer design review approved, informing and helping installers with installation commissioning and fault finding, ensuring crm is checked, and all due diligence has been taken into considerations before moving customers projects through the pipeline, ability to handle customer objections and questions in a professional and friendly way, qa process after the installation has occurred, ability to work without supervision and deliver results, ability to take initiative to solve problems and find creative solutions to resolve issues and maintain project velocity, flexible to change ability to adapt to changing priorities, post-installation fault finding and resolving any issues by liaising with the installers and customers, provide technical feedback to the sales team. Qualifications background of engineering (bachelor or masters), at least two years of relevant experience, strong crm skills; follow crm protocol and maintain good records and notes in crm, ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and organise your time effectively, clear and effective communication skills, both installer facing and internal communication, desire to be part of a company addressing climate change through providing customers with solar energy.
