Early Childhood Teacher Strawberry Fields Cottage location Gosford and Central Coast.
About the role Strawberry Fields Cottage Kanwal is looking for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing team. We’re looking for a well-rounded childcare professional with a strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework to design and implement educational experiences for our preschool room, and to assist with strengthening our educational programming. This is also an excellent mentoring opportunity for those with substantial prior experience in the childcare industry.
About us we are a preschool and long daycare that cares for children from 0-5 years old. Our centre has a long-standing client base, and we have developed many loyal relationships with families and the local community over the years.
Our centre has also recently undergone several renovations, including the addition of a new preschool room with an outdoor play space.
Qualifications a Bachelor level qualification in Early Childhood Education. Current Working with Children Check (WWCC). Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certification. Child Protection Refresher.
Skills in-depth understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). Proven excellence in verbal and written communication.
Ability to show initiative with planning and implementing experiences for all children. Experience with managing different learning requirements for children with diverse needs.
Responsibilities plan and guide the delivery of high-quality learning outcomes. Guide and support the implementation of a high-quality curriculum based on the NQS and the Early Years Learning Framework. Assisting our Educational Leader with the assessment of children’s learning through planning and evaluation.
Work with our Educational leader to critically reflect on the curriculum, educator practices, professional relationships, interactions with children, and the environment.
Managing the implementation of individual education plans or behaviour plans, based on the needs of individual children. Working with our Educational Leader in regularly reviewing children’s progress towards specified learning outcomes.
