Early Childhood Teacher YMCA North Inc location Waikato.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Qualified Teacher to join our The Y – Hamilton Early Learning Centre. As our ideal candidate, you will be a passionate teacher with great communication skills, and a love for early childhood education. You will also have the ability to build strong, genuine relationships with parents and young children as well as your colleagues.

With great outdoor spaces to explore on our doorstep and a place that is safe, caring and fun not only for our tamariki but also our Kaiako, The Y is a place that supports everyone and makes a positive difference on a daily basis.

What experience B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification or third year student will be considered. Good knowledge around current ECE regulations, Te Whariki and programme planning.

Passion for working with young children and a love for engaging with the community. Great communication skills as you will be chatting to children, parents and staff regularly. Commitment to continuous learning and professional practice.
