About the opportunity
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our Medium Rigid Truck Driver within our friendly team at StarTrack Perth Airport, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!

Paying $31.16/hr + 12% super, overtime rates along with a $50/week location allowance, this is a full time permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday. You'll enjoy lots of benefits such as weekly pay, uniform, many onsite celebrations and opportunities for further development and career advancement.  We have several opportunities available.

You’ll be

Completing your daily vehicle safety check
Scanning and safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility
Driving our medium rigid trucks between our customers, for deliveries and pick-ups, providing an outstanding customer experience
Returning to our Perth Airport based facility to unload pick-ups

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

You’ll also need to

Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Hold a relevant heavy vehicle license
Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
Be prepared to undergo a driving assessment and carry out a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and criminal history checks
