Domestic Broker Support OFS Insurance Brokers location Otago.

OFS Insurance Brokers are a well known locally owned and operated broker who are currently looking for a domestic broker support to join their team. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated person to work and grow with our company.

About the role support an experienced broker. Processing new business, renewals, and endorsements. Help service and support well-established growing book. Responding to client queries in an acceptable time frame.

Liaising and negotiating with Insurance Underwriters. Engaging in clients claims & finding solutions to problems. Keeping up with changes in the insurance market. Working with the office staff to achieve our commitment to deliver an outstanding customer service.

What we are looking for Ideally 1-2 years working experience in the New Zealand insurance sector. Some experience or understanding of Fire & General Insurance. Level 5 in Financial Services, or be prepared to do it in near future is an essential requirement. This is paid for by OFS as well as paid study time. A quick learner with excellent computer skills. Previous experience with eGlobal database processing would be advantageous.

Proactive and professional in all aspects of the role and attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A great attitude, ability to organise workload, and manage time effectively. Be able to work under pressure. Has the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Excellent negotiation skills.
