Dog Daycare Assistant Pets at Whitdord Spa and Stay location Auckland.

A Supportive management team are seeking experienced and passionate kennel hands/ dog daycare assistants for rostered full time work. This includes split shifts. We are seeking individuals that share our passion for providing the best possible care for animals.

Set on 10 acres in Whitford, we aim to provide the best possible care for all animals entrusted to us. We are a social kennels, so have plenty interaction and activities with the animals throughout their day and stays. Candidates must have driver's license and access to a vehicle due to hours and rural location. Rostered work, which will include rotating weekends and public holiday work as part of the role.

Position includes Animal Care, Supervision, Cleaning, Communication with customers.

This role is working within a busy dog daycare and boarding facility, successful candidates should have the following skills a good understanding of animal behaviour and body language. Must be physically fit. Confident in interacting with animals and their human owners too.

Self-management and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a fun-loving team. Initiative is a must as we run a social kennel and have lots of interaction and activities with the animals throughout their stays. Must be confident working with breeds of all shapes, sizes and personalities.
