Director, Member Services The Pharmacy Guild of Australia location Melbourne.
Primary objective leading a team to grow and retain the membership of the Guild by providing high quality member services. Promote Guild products and services to current and future members. Work collaboratively with the senior team, and support the Branch Director, Branch Committee and National office in the setting and achieving of strategic goals and outcomes of the Guild.
Key Responsibilities ad accountabilities membership. Develop and implement a Membership and Membership Value Proposition strategy for the Branch. Grow and retain Guild membership in Victoria. Working with the Manager, Member Services to deliver on key membership strategic goals.
Maximise financial outcomes for the Branch through the promotion of Guild group products and services and the development of other revenue streams for the Branch. Professional advice supporting the Pharmacist Advisor and Manager Workplace Relations both strategically and operationally to deliver high quality support and advice to members.
Develop a program of member updates in the area of pharmacy and workplace relations with the Pharmacist Advisor and Manager Workplace Relations. General form part of the senior management team and deputise for the Branch Director as required.
Ensuring streamlined operations, collaborating with all other Business Units and external stakeholders to drive efficiencies, maintain budgets and achieve targets and outcomes. Analyse member feedback and provide strategic advice to the Branch Director and Committee based on the interaction with members
Develop briefings, strategies, key performance indicators and budgets for key business activities. Deliver on agreed goals for the Business Unit. Represent the Guild and Branch at external events as required.
Experience and qualifications tertiary qualifications in pharmacy or a relevant professional discipline such as management highly desirable. Demonstrated success in membership organisations including demonstrated ability to grow and retain membership.
Leadership acumen in synthesising conflicting views and facilitating stakeholder discussions. Sound financial management practices, particularly in the development and maintenance of budgets and financial reports. Sound experience in writing and producing reports for Branch Committee and external stakeholders. Sound overall governance practices.
