Diploma Room Leader 2020 Uniting location Sydney. Uniting Turratots Child Care Centre are looking for an Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join our team in 2020 educating in our birth – 3year-old room. This opportunity will see you working alongside experienced educators to implement a play based educational program. You will be sharing your knowledge and skills through professional mentoring of other educators in our centre. You will be supported by our co-Directors who both hold an Early Childhood Teaching degree. Our 36 place centre provides education and care to children aged 0-6 years of age. We have a beautiful indoor and outdoor environment with an emphasis on open-ended play based learning. Our outdoor environment has been designed with nature and risky play in mind. Our team consists of passionate and longstanding educators who have created an inclusive environment for children, families and our team. Our beautiful centre operates Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm and closes for a 4-week period over Christmas and New Year’s. At Turratots Child Care Centre, we pride ourselves on our commitment to provide quality early childhood education and care to our local community. Our team have grown and learnt together and we aim to continue this ethos through welcoming a new Diploma qualified Room Leader that will bring their own ideas to our centre to ensure we continue to grow and thrive. Diploma in children’s services, experience working as a room leader, experience and knowledge of national quality framework, early years learning framework and assessment and rating process,  experience of supporting continuous improvement including developing professional learning plans and programs (2 hours minimum planned programing each week), understanding of children’s services regulations, positive and optimistic outlook, friendly disposition, team player, community engagement (highly regarded), attendance at monthly (paid) staff meetings.
