About Dinybulu Regional Services:
Dinybulu Regional Services started in 2014 after the Bulungkunum Corporation Limited and ALPA acquired the former Ramingining Resource Centre with a vision to further develop and deliver community services in the area. As a subsidiary of ALPA, Dinybulu has the same mission; to operate a successful and responsible business, emphasising local employment, training, career pathways, customer service, and safety.
Dinybulu Regional Services is made up of businesses which provide services to the Ramingining community, they are the Dinybulu Lodge, Homeland Services to six homelands surrounding Ramingining and Dinybulu Logistics Hub, which is the barge delivery services for ALPA and other businesses in Ramingining.
About the role:
On behalf of the Yolngu traditional owners and under the direction of the General Manager Enterprise and Economic Development, the Dinybulu Site Manager is responsible for economically and efficiently managing and expanding the four Dinybulu business services whilst attracting repeat customers and providing Yolngu staff with meaningful training, employment, and career pathways.
This position is based in Ramingining Community, Northern Territory
Responsibilities
Provide management and guidance to direct reports including workforce management, service operations quality and administration.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of services and facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations. Manage risk assessments and emergency preparedness.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal & external stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring best case outcomes.
Build relationships with First Nations employees to support skills development through onsite training and via the ALPA RTO.
Support capital works, refurbishments, and infrastructure improvement projects. Develop and implement preventive and reactive maintenance schedules for all services.
Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, internal & community stakeholders and authorities.
Skills and Experience
Relevant experience in rural property operations, freight services, warehousing and hospitality services.
Prior experience managing expenses to budgets, stock controls and providing reports.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other applications.
Proven ability to work cross-culturally and mentor staff from diverse backgrounds.
Proven organisational and interpersonal skills with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
