Chanel are now recruiting an agile and transformational Digital Media Lead to be responsible for digital strategy and innovation to deliver the best in market campaigns.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Digital Media Lead you will connect digital media, .com and e-business. You will be responsible for leveraging your knowledge to develop strategy and plan architecture. You will work alongside cross-functional and divisional stakeholders to capture business objectives in campaign outcomes across digital. You will plan strategies to optimize paid search and performance and manage, influence & negotiate with external vendors.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
You will oversee the Media Agency digital workflow for seamless implementation and execution. And you will be accountable for performance and delivery of set KPIs, reporting to the Corporate Media Manager.
You will be a trusted source of digital media expertise across the business, with experience of;
Connected Television (Subscription e.g Netflix / Free to air)
SEM (Search Engine Marketing – Google, Yahoo, Bing – Search & Shopping)
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
Performance Marketing

Leading best-practice implementation of media functions for Fragrance & Beauty, Fashion and Watches & Fine Jewellery.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Build a digital transformation roadmap of milestones and initiatives that address business objectives
Understand each division’s business objectives, advertising strategy and need for digital within broader media communication strategy
Translate Corporate, Campaign and / or E-Business Guidelines as directed by Regional and Global Media
Contribute to the annual media strategy framework aligning to the Global presentations
Create integrated campaign digital strategies with a full funnel approach and traffic acquisition plan
Incorporate first party data and Media Agency planning tools to rationalise strategies
Lead the local strategy for paid search and drive effective management via Agency
Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders to improve their skills in digital knowledge and trends
Partner with divisional Marketing / Product teams and Fragrance and Beauty E-Business to align on campaign outcomes
Work with Digital Media manager on all digital budget planning, tracking and reporting.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Media or a related discipline
Google Ads Certification and demonstrated experience working with SEM, SEO
Several years’ experience as a digital media professional, ideally with experience gained with a mix of in-house and agency.
Management/experience in execution of digital marketing strategies and performance media to accelerate e-commerce channel.
Experience in luxury will be an added advantage
Solid understanding of the digital ecosystem and the relationship between channels
Ability to technically communicate and translate for diverse audiences
Precise attention to detail, organisation and process
Natural data proficiency across analytics, tracking and reporting
Results driven for continuous improvement
Insightful and perceptive when managing relationships
Highly collaborative with a desire to preserve brand equity through purposeful actions
Specialisation in media planning tools and ad servers including but not limited to Ads Manager platforms, Google Analytics and IAS Dashboard
Knowledge of DMP, DSP and CDP platforms and emerging practices
