About Us
Farm Owners Academy, established in 2015, is a leading education and coaching organisation that empowers farming families to develop the business skills they need to build thriving farms and fulfilling lives. We do things differently here - from our remote work environment to our focus on personal growth, all while fostering a supportive and collaborative community and team culture.
About The Role
This is not a “strategise and delegate” type of role. It’s 80% implementation, 20% strategy, leadership and management. We’re after someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, execute fast, and build momentum.
You’ll lead a small, committed marketing team and work directly with our directors to implement campaigns that fill events, generate qualified leads, and position Farm Owners Academy as the go-to coaching organisation for progressive farm business owners across Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and implement the marketing strategy across Meta and other digital platforms
Lead & manage a lean, capable marketing team
Run marketing campaigns that:
Fill our Top Producers Workshop events (300 plus seats to fill)
Build a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for our flagship program, the Platinum Mastermind
Grow the Farm Owners Academy brand and positioning in the ag space
Expand and nurture our database, an engaged list of farm business owners interested in our programs
Expand the reach of our podcast
Managing our fortnightly podcast and email blog
Optimise paid and organic campaigns (across Meta, Google, email)
Maintain and improve our marketing systems and processes (including CRM, funnels, and automations)
Track and report on key metrics, using data to drive decision-making
Work closely with the FOA Directors on high-level strategy while owning execution
Working on other strategic marketing projects to drive the business forward
Overseeing the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
You’ll Succeed in This Role If You...
Have 3+ years digital marketing experience, either in a business, an agency or running your own business
Have grown a business using facebook ads or you have a strong understanding of Meta Ads. While you won’t be setting up the ad campaigns yourself in this role, you need to understand the strategy behind targeting, optimisation, and measurement.
Can confidently lead and mentor a small marketing team while effectively collaborating with external agencies and contractors.
You are into technology and a wizard in finding and implementing new AI tools to create efficiency in your marketing efforts
Are comfortable working across multiple platforms and marketing systems
Love writing, reviewing, and improving high-performing copy
Are data-driven and decisive – you know when to test, scale or kill a campaign
Take feedback well, move fast, and love learning what works
Appreciate the farming community and understand the challenges of rural business
Want to be part of a purpose-led business that’s making a real difference
