This is an amazing opportunity to learn and develop skills. You will be working alongside two team members who respectively have over 10 and 20 years’ experience in the business, and will match your enthusiasm with support and encouragement to develop and perfect your proficiency in digital and brand marketing. As a small company, we operate on an “all in” approach whereby you will have an opportunity to do a little bit of everything and should always be keen to help out wherever needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to plan, develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that promote the e-commerce business for RSN Australia, to existing and prospective new target audiences. Plan, develop and execute the company’s email marketing calendar with reporting and informed recommendations on how to update and evolve.
Content creation, community management and maintenance of social media channels (Facebook/Instagram), including calendar planning, coordinating the creation of assets for upcoming promotions, and requesting permissions for sharing UGC. Develop and execute advertising and promotional campaigns in conjunction with the Managing Director, including managing relationships with print media partners, and assisting and negotiating annual rates and agreements.
Supporting the Managing Director, external Sales Team and their customers, including regular clear communication of marketing activities and administrative assistance as required. Key contact for sponsorships under negotiation, including relationship management and contract negotiation under the guidance of the Managing Director. Preparation of sales proposals, presentations, promotional offers, price lists, and other materials.
Creation of graphics in Adobe, including POS materials, print advertisements, marketing flyers, invitations, for the company and its clients. Coordination of PR activities, including photography of new or promotional items, research into competitors, and acting as key contact with the company’s PR agency. Achieve Key Performance Indicators, as provided by management. Other reasonable ad hoc duties as required.
Minimum requirements minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Strong skills with Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop), and email marketing systems (Episerver preferred). Strong experience in planning, creating and designing social media promotions for acquisition, audience building, and sales. Preferred but not essential: experience with Events.
Essential attributes excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time management skills in order to meet deadlines and respective Key Performance Indicators. Ability to listen and engage attentively with strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions, use intuition when executing tasks, and work as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges with a professional and enthusiastic outlook. A competent understanding of wine, beer and/or spirits, and the beverage and hospitality industries.
