About us Southpac Trucks Ltd imports DAF and Kenworth trucks manufactured by PACCAR in the Netherlands and Australia, the majority shareholder is The Colonial Motor Company Ltd, Wellington (CMC), who has been involved in the importation and retailing of Ford products since 1908.

Southpac operates from seven locations, Manukau City, Hamilton, Rotorua, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Christchurch and Timaru. Southpac supports its DAF and Kenworth customers along with a variety of TRP truck and trailer parts via the TRP Parts and Service Dealer Network to enable the highest operating uptime at the lowest possible cost.

Key responsibilities this is a full-time position, Monday to Friday and rostered Saturdays. The position offers future prospects and will be reporting to the Service Manager. Rostered call outs. General Service and repairs of trucks and trailers. Preventative maintenance servicing. Support both internal staff (workshop, new truck prep) and external (customers and dealers). Health and Safety.

Skills & experience 2+ years' experience in the heavy transport industry. Mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles. Proven ability in completing multiple tasks and able to function well under pressure.

You provide full clean driver licence. Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Good communication with first-class service to our customers. Reliable and punctual.
