Who are Fisher Lane Mobility Back in 1981 in a little town called Fitzroy, a savvy Pharmacist named Mr. GJ Belleville recognised a need for basic mobility equipment for those following surgeries and working through rehabilitation. Following his ‘light-bulb’ moment, GJ Belleville then went on to establish a company specialising in rehabilitation and mobility equipment.

Fast forward 40 years later, we are now a thriving company providing products and services to the healthcare industry as well as to the general public. To top it all off, not only have we established an incredible business but we’ve also assembled a team of delightfully charming and unbelievably talented personalities and we’re looking to add one more.

The role as a Fisher Lane Mobility Delivery Driver your day-to-day will involve delivering and installing mobility equipment for our customers. Providing a clear guide and instruction about the product to our customer and clients. Completing and maintaining paperwork to the highest standard. Taking great care of the work vehicle, treating it as you would your own. Working within an incredible team who consistently supports each other and works together to make sure that everyone has the best day they can. Overall (and most important) providing exceptional customer service and going that extra mile to ensure all our customers feel supported and cared for.

A Bit about youit really goes without saying, but to be a successful delivery driver you need to be good at driving. More than that, though, you need to enjoy driving because you’ll be spending most of your working week behind the wheel. Having excellent driving skills is more than just being able to read traffic signs and carry out manoeuvres correctly (and legally!).

It’s as much about being patient and considerate on the road – something that can be put to the test in high-pressure situations, like the twice-daily, rush-hour commute. You need to be someone who understands that when they put on that uniform and drive that van they are representing something bigger than themselves and they are proud to do so with professionalism and grace.

We’ll also be looking for some other special qualities empathy you acknowledge and understand the challenges our clients face and will go out of your way to make their day and give them a quality outcome. Dependable t his role requires you to be out and about completing jobs on-site and we need to trust that you are self reliant and that we can count on you.

Communication you pay attention to others and really listen to what they are saying, you don’t hesitate to communicate with your colleagues and you can write a good email when needed. Proactive you are confident in your ability to really learn the clients’ needs and you have a 'can-do' attitude to getting things done. To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-starter who is motivated and flexible and enjoys being part of a larger team but is capable of working independently. A current VIC manual driving licence, a current police check (or ability to obtain one if successful) and the right to work in Australia are also mandatory for this position.
