Tech 5 Recruitment is seeking Data Technicians to join our team in the Mid North Island, focusing on areas such as Hutt Valley, Levin, Masterton, and Napier.

Job overview as a Data Technician, you'll be responsible for installing and upgrading connectivity equipment in both residential and commercial properties. This involves enhancing network infrastracture, ensuring seamless transition to improve connectivity.

Key responsibilities installation and Upgrades - Perform installations as part of a regional enhancement project. Independent Work - Complete and log installations on a daily basis, working autonomously. Client Communication - You will be the key point of contact for the customer when you are onsite, you will be required to explain the purpose of your visit and answer any questions theyu might have.

If there is no customer present on sight then you will need to determine if the installation can proceed according to specific conditions. Stock Management - As part of your role you will be required to collect stock from local stores weekly.

Job details duration 5-7 months, starting next year, or until the project is complete. Project-Based Each job takes roughly 15-20 minutes, including setup and pack-up. Flexible Work Manage your daily installations independently while ensuring all tasks are logged accurately.

Qualifications technical aptitude and experience in data installation are preferred. Ability to work autonomously with a customer-focussed attitude. First Aid Certificate. Own reliable car + Full clean driver’s license.
