Data Entry Sisters of Compassion location Wellington.

We are looking for a data entry person who is willing to work collaboratively with the Fundraising and Communications Manager to deliver work across Sisters of Compassion. We are a great place to work. Wide variety of work.

Job tasks & responsibilities in conjunction with the Fundraising and Communications Manager receipting and acknowledging all donations and orders made. Prepare monthly report to assist the manager. Prepare, maintain and update data lists. Maintaining the Infoodle database system. Orders to dispatch. Maintain stocks and monthly stocktake.

In respect of donations and donor management working to the direction of the Fundraising and Communications Manager. Assisting other fundraising and communications tasks when needed. Such other tasks within the skill set may be requested from time to time.

Skills & experience a proven track record in the effective running of computer-based systems especially databases. Sound knowledge of quality principles and practices pertaining to the not for profit sector. Strong computer skills. Effective written and oral communication skills.  Well-developed relationship management skills. Strong administration and reporting skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, excellent phone skills and a strong ethic of helpfulness. A “can-do” warm and welcoming approach. A strong understanding especially in the donations area, of what Compassion is, how we operate and our Vision and Mission.

Competencies well organised with a high level of attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically. Effective verbal and written communications skills, with an excellent telephone manner. Self-starter and self-motivated. Strong customer and service delivery focus. Adaptive to situations ability to think on feet.
